A private cooking lesson is a great way to gain confidence in the kitchen, have a great time with friends and family and enjoy delicious food. You don't have to spend all day in the kitchen to learn how to create and cook your own fresh and fabulous gourmet meals. Allow Chef Tillie to share her culinary knowledge, passion for food and experience with you and your guests in the privacy of your own home. Classes also available for your little chefs in 3 separate age groups.

Cooking Class Styles

Hands-On Cooking Classes

Hands-on cooking classes consist of: learning the recipe, preparing ingredients and cooking and plating actual dishes. Each student will participate in dish creation. As your personal chef, Chef Tillie will design your lesson to fit your skill level, needs and goals. Personalize your class by selecting your own menu, or allow the chef to suggest a pre-fixed menu for you! Don't forget you can enjoy your creations during and after the lesson.

Demonstration Cooking Classes

Suppose you would rather sit back, drink wine and watch the chef do all the cooking? We offer demonstration classes just for these types of people. Relax by yourself or with friends while a professional chef instructs you on how to create your favorite dishes. Sample the dishes being cooked, ask questions and take notes while you receive instruction from your own professionally trained chef.

Combination Cooking Classes

Get some hands-on cooking experience and a professional cooking lesson with a combination cooking class! You will participate in preparing, creating and cooking an appetizer individually or as a group. Then relax, and enjoy the appetizer you just created while the chef demonstrates how to cook the following courses. Sit back, eat and expand your culinary mind as your own personal chef shares their culinary technique and knowledge with you.

Private cooking lessons are for 1-6 people and

are taught in the privacy and comfort of your own home.

Children's Cooking Classes

Chef Tillie will instruct these mini-chefs on how to make a variety of different recipes from making your own pizza, mini burritos, baking and decorating desserts or personalize your own children's cooking party and menu! Meal planning, school lunches, ethnic foods, the learning possibilities are endless!!

Children's aprons and chef hats are included to enhance the experience.

Adventure further into the depths of food with basic chemistry & science, applications of math and reading comprehension, and the visual art of nature’s palette. Teens will enjoy more challenging recipes and understanding of food & nutrition. They will build their self reliance as they prepare for the lifelong journey ahead without Mom or Dad! We will have iron chef style competitions and explore food science & so much more!

Learning to cook is an adventure into the basics of chemistry, math, and reading comprehension, and the visual art of nature’s palette. Tweens will enjoy challenging recipes while familiarizing themselves in the kitchen, while continuing to build their confidence with assistance from a professional chef. We'll talk about how to love eating healthy food and how delicious it really is. Your teens will explore food science and walk away with the knowledge of cooking a meal for their family and themself.

Our themed weekly classes are a fun way for your kids to focus on hands-on kids cooking class sessions while learning simple and healthy recipes to try at home. We focus on color and make cooking not only fun but educational from a nutritional aspect. Your Lil' Chef will gain skills that are designed to appeal to the abilities of most children.  Tuition includes recipe handouts to take home, and all supplies.
